Rail Europe Launches its BritRail Free Day Away Promotion

The Free Day Away promotion offers one extra day of rail travel for FREE with the purchase of one of a range of BritRail passes. So, for example a 4 day BritRail Pass, actually entitles the traveler to 5 days of rail travel.

Purchases can be made on www.raileurope.com now through June 1, 2009. This offer is valid for travel for up to 6 months after the purchase of a BritRail Pass. Travelers to Britain can choose between 1st or standard class travel and their FREE day of rail travel is valid on any of the following BritRail Passes -- BritRail Consecutive Pass, BritRail Flexipass, BritRail England Consecutive Pass, BritRail England Flexipass, BritRail Eurail Passholder Discount, BritRail Freedom of Scotland Travelcard.

As with other European railpasses, money saving bonuses are also available to travelers purchasing any of the range of BritRail Passes; children under 5 travel for free and children 5-15 travel free with each paying adult by requesting the BritRail Family Pass.
