Bikes
The BBB, the largest charitable bike rally in the US with an average of 95% of its annual profit going to local charities, expects more than 300,000 people with about 100,000 on motorcycles. Thousands of bikes will line Dickson Street and the surrounding area, giving festival-goers a close-up view of motorcycles in all makes and models, from stock bikes straight off the lot to individually customized bikes.
Motorcycle Events and Motorcycle Routes
Activities for bikers include a Poker Run, parade, a bike show, and the Ms. Bikes, Blues and BBQ contest. A list of scenic rides capitalizing on the rolling hills of Fayetteville's city streets and the scenic winding roads of the Arkansas Ozarks will also be available. Manufacturers will offer demo rides on their newest motorcycles and vendors will be set up for biker enthusiasts to check out leather goods and apparel, bike trailers, helmets, goggles, rain gear and more.
Blues and The Allman Brothers
The Allman Brothers Band will headline the September 26th concert at 8 p.m. at the Randall Tyson Track Complex. Two other stages will offer free music from the best local, regional and national acts playing blues today.
BBQ
Every year some of the best barbecue teams from around the country compete in the Arkansas State BBQ Championship, an official Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned cook-off. Filling the air will be the smoky aroma of barbequed chicken, ribs, pork, and beef brisket available for tasting.
Benefits
In support of their fundraising, BBB will raffle off a Harley-Davidson Rocker C motorcycle donated by Tri-State Harley-Davidson/Buell, a custom paint job worth up to $5,000 from O's Custom Paints, an N'tense toy hauler from National Travelers RV Center, and a Gibson acoustic electric guitar from Janet Davis Music.
