Annual Celebrations at The Bicycle Casino Bring Holiday Cheer to Local Charities

BELL GARDENS, Calif., Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bicycle Casino wrapped up its annual season of giving to the community this week. With traditions that span more than twenty years, the Bike celebrated the spirit of the holidays with the help of its employees, Santa Claus, and local charitable organizations.

On Wednesday, December 12th, employees of The Bicycle Casino visited the children at the Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center as they have done for 22 years. Dressed as various popular cartoon characters including a snowman and several reindeer, and accompanied by Santa, employees brought joy and toys to the disabled and paralyzed children and those marooned in the hospital over the holidays.

Monday night, December 17th was the Bike's annual team Christmas party for its 1,700 employees to celebrate the season with food, drink, and friendship. The casino values the members of its team and thanks them for their hard work during the year.

The grand finale of traditional festivities took place on Thursday, December 20th as underprivileged children from the Bell Gardens area descended upon The Bicycle Casino facilities for its annual Christmas party. With the help of the Rio Hondo Boys and Girls Club, Rotary Club, and Bell Gardens Merchants and Commerce Association, the Sonshine Youth Group, as well as other local volunteers, the Bike hosted and provided a day-long event for 1,700 children and their families who were chosen based on need. Staged entertainment, food, and music were supplied, and each child was given a gift-wrapped toy and photo of their individual visit with Santa Claus.

The Bicycle Casino takes great pride in having provided services to the community for over twenty years. With the help of all employees, especially Tracie Thomas, Executive Assistant to CEO, Hashem Minaiy, and her band of elves, this year's series of events were a complete success.
