SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Firm believers that San Francisco is the real City of Love -- not Paris, Hotel Nikko San Francisco is on a nationwide search for couples who married, or honeymooned, at the hotel the first year it opened, 20 years ago.

In a contest announced today by the hotel to commemorate its own 20th anniversary, the prize is a return trip to the hotel for a lavish second honeymoon for one of these couples.

The winning couple will be invited to relive the magic of their own wedding day or honeymoon at the hotel with a six-night stay in the hotel's honeymoon suite. The contest winners will be announced at Hotel Nikko San Francisco's 20th Anniversary Gala on October 4, 2007.

In addition to the six-night stay, the hotel will provide the winning couple with air transportation from anywhere in the United States and breakfast at the hotel each morning. As many in San Francisco would agree, it isn't a celebration without champagne and dinner at ANZU, Hotel Nikko San Francisco's fine dining Asian fusion restaurant, so that, too, is included in the hotel's gift to the winning couple. The total estimated value of the prize is $11,100.

To be eligible, a couple must have held their wedding ceremony or celebration, or honeymooned, at the hotel between October 1, 1987 and September 30, 1988, and be celebrating their 20th anniversary during this time frame. The winners will be drawn randomly from all eligible entries received.
