WHO: Richie Akiva and Scott Sartiano, the leaders of the
see-and-be-scene crowd in New York nightlife are joining forces
with the timelessly cool Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for NBA
All-Star Weekend. Known for their consistent star-studded
events, Akiva and Sartiano will bring in the A-list crowd for
the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's line-up of elite events. By
bringing in such heavy hitters as Akiva and Sartiano this
weekend, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be the unanimous
choice for the world's biggest athletes, as well as Hollywood's
biggest partiers.
Former NBA player for Chicago Bulls Trent Tucker, NBA legend
Michael Jordan, player for Cleveland Cavaliers LeBron James,
players for Denver Nuggets Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony,
Minnesota Timberwolves players Kevin Garnett, Ricky Davis and
Randy Foye, R&B music sensation Ciara, Grammy award-winning
rapper Chamillionaire, R&B producer Jimmy Jam Harris, hip-hop

hit show, "The Nick Cannon Show," Nick Cannon, comedian Katt

DETAILS: Thursday, Feb. 15
Kick-off the weekend with Trent Tucker and friends as he hosts
his Hoopology celebrity party, which consists of a charity poker
tournament that will benefit the Trent Tucker Non-Profit
Organization. The event will take place at the Center Bar
located on the casino floor at 8 p.m. Finish the night with the
after-party at Body English featuring performances by The Roots.
They will perform after midnight when the doors open to the
public. Celebrity attendees for the night include Michael
Jordan, music artists Chamillionaire, Ciara and Three 6 Mafia,
and players of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Kevin Garnett, Ricky
Davis and Randy Foye. VIP party tickets to watch the poker
event are $350 while entrance into the after-party at Body
English is $200. VIP tickets to attend both events are $500 and

There will be a red carpet event before the tournament at 8 p.m.
A second red carpet for celebrities attending the after-party
will take place outside of Body English at 11:30 p.m. Media
check-in begins at 7 p.m. for the tournament and 10:30 p.m. for
the after-party.
Friday, Feb. 16
Nick Cannon and Complex Magazine hosts an old school, hip-hop
showcase inside Body English with special guests including
LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson. Performers
include Big Daddy Kane, Biz Markie, DJ Clue, MC Shan and many
others. Doors open at 10:30 p.m.
There will be a red carpet for celebrities attending and media
check-in is at 9:30 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 17
Comedian, Katt Williams will be performing inside The Joint at
11 p.m. He will have a second performance on Sunday, Feb. 18 at
9 p.m. Tickets start at $62.50 and can be purchased at The
Joint box office or online at http://www.ticketmaster.com/.
Join socialite, singer and actress, Paris Hilton as she
celebrates her star-studded birthday celebration at Body
English. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. and the cover charge is $40
for men and women. Paris, along with other celebrity attendees,
will be making appearances on the red carpet outside Body
English.
Media check-in is 9:30.
Sunday, Feb. 18
Legendary superstar guests will take over Body English as the
Hard Rock presents the official NBA All-Star after party. NBA
icon Charles Barkley and Grammy nominated artist, Akon, will
host along with DJ, Benny-D, on the 1's & 2's. Expect VIP
sightings all night long, like special guest Magic Johnson.
Girls in basketball jersey attire drink champagne all night for
free. Doors open at 10:30 p.m. and $40 for men and women.
Red carpet appearances are to take place outside of Body English
and media check-in will be at 9:30 p.m.
