WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Optasite, Inc., a fast-growing developer, owner and operator of telecommunications tower sites, today announced that Michael Boychuk, Senior Vice-President and Treasurer of BCE Inc. and Bell Canada, has joined the Company's Board of Directors. In this role, Boychuk will leverage his experience to help define corporate direction and strategies to expand Optasite's market leadership.
As a Senior Vice-President and Treasurer of BCE Inc. and Bell Canada, Boychuk has been involved in financings for the BCE group of companies in excess of $20 billion. In addition to his Treasury responsibilities, he is also responsible for Corporate Finance and is the senior officer responsible for the BCE / Bell pension plan. Boychuk has a strong background in mergers and acquisitions and is a member of the advisory Board of Centennial Ventures, a billion dollar plus private equity fund based in Denver, Colorado as well as Chair of the Audit Committee of Yellow Pages Income Fund.
