F1 World Championship and the ChampBoat Racing Series.

The U.I.M. F1 World Championship for powerboating was born in 1981 and features races that attract hundreds of thousands of people from around its 8 month racing calendar that begins at the Grand Prix of Portugal on the 21-22 of May and ends its season with back-o-back races in the Middle East in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah a suburb of Dubai in mid December. The ChampBoat racing series in North America begins its season a week after Portugal on the 28-29th of May just outside Baton Rouge in the historic town of New Roads in the state of Louisiana. Their 2005 season sees this series traveling to picturesque downtown and metro locations of cities such as Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, St. Louis and San Diego just to name a few. Tim Seebold is defending champion and is a 4-time title-holder who is hoping for a ring for every finger with a title this season ahead.
