OSRAM Honored as One of Visteon Corporation's Top Suppliers

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- OSRAM has been honored with Visteon Important Partner Awards for outstanding overall performance in providing automotive lighting and electronics products to Visteon Corporation, one of the world's leading automotive suppliers.

OSRAM's Automotive Lighting business unit was recognized as a top supplier to Visteon in the automotive lighting category and its Opto Semiconductors business unit was recognized in the electronics category during a recent ceremony at Visteon's Corporate Offices and Innovation Center in Van Buren Township, Mich.

OSRAM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens AG.

The Visteon Important Partner Award program, now in its sixth year, honors Visteon suppliers that achieve "best-in-class" ratings for quality, delivery, technology, launch and cost-control performance. OSRAM was among 23 companies honored for 2007 performance, representing less than one percent of Visteon's global production and non-production suppliers.

Of the 23 companies earning Visteon Important Partner Awards, eight are based in the Asia-Pacific region, six in Europe, five in North America and four in South America.
