Easter Bunny Hops Into Wal-Mart Stores for a Picture-Perfect Easter

    BENTONVILLE, Ark., March 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --

    What:          Wal-Mart today announced that for a limited time, its
                   newest associate -- the Easter Bunny -- will be sporting
                   two ears and a fluffy tail.  Beginning March 15, the Easter
                   Bunny will appear in more than 3,000 Wal-Mart stores and
                   Supercenters across the country.  Customers can pose with
                   the floppy-eared friend to receive a free 5" x 7" photo
                   (while supplies last) that will be developed onsite and
                   available for pick up in the photo department.  Additional
                   prints are available for purchase at the store's digital
                   photo center, where customers can choose from more than
                   100 specialty products featuring their photo with the
                   Easter Bunny.

                   In addition to the Easter Bunny photos, Wal-Mart is ready
                   to help families preserve Easter holiday traditions with
                   great values on baskets and basket-building items for as
                   little as one dollar.  Families will also find food items
                   to prepare that perfect Easter dinner for eight for less
                   than $40.

    When:          March 15, 16, 21 and 22 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

                      Wal-Mart's Easter grass is biodegradable (and we're
                      working hard on the other 35 percent). Wal-Mart is
                      expected to sell enough of the basket filler to cover
