Bloomingdale's Celebrates Earth Day

NEW YORK, March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- From March 6th through April 22nd (Earth Day) Bloomingdale's will feature and promote a specially produced gift card in partnership with NRDC, America's most effective environmental advocacy organization. Throughout that period 10% of the proceeds from the sale of the Little Green Card, and any amount spent over the original card value, will be donated to NRDC. Bloomingdale's will promote the card with special in-store signage and with a full page in its powerful "HOT" catalog, source of the season's most influential trends. The enviro-friendly gift card carrier spotlights "Simple Steps," a new initiative of NRDC consisting of easy, realistic tips that can make a real difference, whether a person has a minute, a morning, or a month.
