ATLANTA, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Concentrics Restaurants' (www.concentricrestaurants.com) Bob Amick and Todd Rushing launched PARISH: Foods & Goods yesterday, April 30th, in Atlanta's Inman Park neighborhood. A New Orleans inspired, bi-level restaurant and market concept located in a beautifully restored 1890s Atlanta Pipe and Foundry Company terminal building, is defined by three concepts including PARISH Restaurant, PARISH Market and PARISH To-Go. The eatery's purpose boasts strong community ties and an eco-friendly mission while utilizing the influences that make New Orleans' cuisine and culture a melting pot of simple pleasures.
"We are thrilled to open this organically striking space in one of Atlanta's most historic neighborhoods," states Amick. "The anticipation, and now the response, has been above and beyond our expectations and we are pleased we have a hand in offering diners something they love."
Chef Timothy Magee brings his level of commitment and passion for New Orleans' style cooking to PARISH. Magee has cooked alongside world-renowned chefs in the heart of the Crescent City's finest establishments via stages at Chef John Besh's Luke, Chef Susan Spicer's Bayona and The Brennan Family's Commander's Palace and Mr. B's Bistro.
Design wise, PARISH wows after an intensive restoration in what is believed to be the city's oldest office building still in use. Bob and Rowina Amick, in conjunction with Taylor Dawson & Associates, utilized a mix of modern and rustic design in the striking 1890's space. Modern touches such as Phillip Starke "Miss K" bar lamps and red Murano glass chandeliers blend with rustic wooden stave lighting, European antique counters and 1920 Parisian sconces.
Located at 240 North Highland Avenue in Atlanta, Ga., PARISH is open seven days a week. For more information visit www.PARISHatl.com.
