Morton's The Steakhouse to Open in Fort Lauderdale

CHICAGO, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Morton's Restaurant Group, Inc. (NYSE: MRT) today announced that it has signed a lease to open a new Morton's The Steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The 8,600 square-foot restaurant will be located in the ground level of the Broward Financial Center, 500 East Broward Blvd., a prime location in Fort Lauderdale's central business district. With a total indoor seating capacity of approximately 250, the restaurant will seat 130 guests in the main dining room, 65 in Morton's exclusive private boardrooms and 55 in Bar 12-21, Morton's new bar dining concept, the place for specialty cocktails and Morton's appetizing Bar Bites menu. The restaurant will also feature an outdoor patio with seating for approximately 55 guests. The new Morton's is expected to open in late 2008. It will be the first Morton's The Steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale and the seventh in Florida. Other Morton's steakhouses in Florida are currently located in Boca Raton, Jacksonville, Miami, North Miami Beach, Orlando and Palm Beach.
