XM Satellite Radio Launches Live Coverage Of Major League Baseball Spring Training Games This Week

WASHINGTON, March 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- XM Satellite Radio, the nation's leading provider of satellite radio with more than 3.2 million subscribers and the Official Satellite Radio Network of Major League Baseball, will launch live coverage of Major League Baseball (MLB) Spring Training games this week with dozens of Cactus League and Grapefruit League games.

Below is a schedule of this week's MLB Spring Training games on XM. An in-depth schedule of Spring Training broadcasts is available online at http://www.xmradio.com/ . XM will air the games of every MLB team during the regular season and postseason, including the World Series. XM offers a suite of 15 channels devoted to live MLB play-by-play coverage, plus the MLB Home Plate channel (XM Channel 175), the first and only 24-hour radio channel devoted to Major League Baseball, featuring baseball news, call-in shows, specials, and rebroadcasts of classic games. XM has assembled an all-star line-up of on-air hosts for MLB Home Plate, including baseball greats Cal Ripken, Jr., Bill Ripken, Rob Dibble, Kevin Kennedy, Larry Bowa, and Buck Martinez. Several MLB Home Plate programs will broadcast live from Spring Training venues this month.
