Former FDA Official Joins Expanding Health, Food and Biopharmaceutical Public Affairs, Corporate Communications Practice

WASHINGTON, April 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Gibraltar Associates, LLC, one of D.C.'s fastest-growing communications firms, today announced that Yier Shi has joined the company as a Vice President in the Washington, D.C. office. Mr. Shi will oversee a range of issue-advocacy and corporate communications accounts, bringing over a decade of deep policy and media relations experience to Gibraltar.

Mr. Shi comes to Gibraltar from FD Dittus, where he was Senior Director in its Food/Health/Nutrition group. He was instrumental in tripling the size of the practice during his two-year tenure, and managing Fortune 100 clients and leading trade associations. Previously, Shi was a Senior Communications Advisor at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, where he managed the 40-person Office of Public Affairs.
