Participants in the first "Recharging Center" tested new mattresses donated from leading manufacturers who are members of the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA). ISPA and the World Market Center co-sponsored the Recharging Center to offer journalists a well-deserved rest as they covered one of the biggest Markets in the world. Dr. Bert Jacobson, professor and head of the School of Educational Studies at Oklahoma State University who has researched the connection between mattresses and sleep quality, was available to discuss how a better night's sleep can improve performance, mood, social interactions and work productivity.
