SAN FRANCISCO, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- IBDNetwork (International Business Development Network) today announced a call for companies for its second Under the Radar one-day event, featuring the hottest, early-stage companies in the consumer technology space. Under the Radar will take place on May 31, 2005, at the Microsoft campus in Mountain View, CA.
IBDNetwork is looking for nominations from companies in the following sectors:

Guidelines for Submissions/Criteria for Selection

IBDNetwork and its program advisory board will be selecting companies that are "just under the radar" but quickly gaining traction.
Eligibility requirements
-- Companies can be any of the following: privately funded, bootstrapped,
or the recipient of no more than a SERIES B round of VC funding
-- Must have a minimum of two paying customers
-- Must have a minimum of one industry partnership
-- US-based companies -- must be interested in partnership opportunities,
follow-on VC funding, or speaking opportunities
-- Non-US companies -- must be interested in finding US-based
partnerships, US-based VC funding, or setting up a US-based office
The IBDNetwork research team and its advisory board will review each nominee. Companies will be selected for their robust technology solutions and early successes in landing customers and key partnerships.
Event Format
-- 4 company CEOs will have five minutes to pitch to a panel of VC
"judges"
-- The judges will pose several questions to the CEO after each
presentation (another 5 minutes)
-- After all the presentations have been made, the audience members will
have an opportunity to ask questions
-- The audience and the judges will then review the merits of each
company's plan and identify the company most likely to succeed via
secret ballot
-- The Audience Choice winners will be announced at the end of the
session. Judges' picks for Top Innovator in each category will be
determined at the end of the day
