Carbon Credits a Sweetener for MagKinetics Inc.

WASHINGTON, March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- MagKinetics Inc. discovers the value of Carbon Credits and Investors interest. MagKinetics Inc., a Neptune, New Jersey-based, development stage, Renewable Energy company, has learned, at the Washington International Renewable Energy Conference this week, that there is much more value to its technology than they originally thought. It seems that Carbon Credits are at stake in the new energy markets and should be added to its formula for calculating the value of its efforts.

After a long first day of premiering MagKinetics technology for converting moving vehicular traffic into electricity, MagKinetics was happy to be invited to dinner by what they believed to be a friendly Wirec2008.org attendee.

Mark Nejmeh said, "We were really expecting a sales pitch or something. We never expected to find ourselves surrounded by 5 attorneys, 5 different renewable energy Venture capitalists and 4 Carbon Credit Traders. Our thoughts were -- who knew?"

MagKinetics says it still doesn't quite understand the Carbon Credit market but it seems their technology aids those transactions since their patent pending invention creates Clean Generated Energy. MagKinetics Inc. claims they just set out to tap human nature and do the right thing.

Mark Nejmeh said, "We really came to the conference to raise immediate capital from an Angel investor and we are still looking along these lines. We don't think the $10,000,000 we need is a lot of money to raise, considering the potential world-wide social benefits and real dollar payback. We know we can go from our concept-to-product in 18-24 months. The interest in our technology has been worldwide thus far -- particularly from China, Eastern Europe and in other developing countries such as Romania, Morocco and India. From the US markets we have been approached by policy makers, power companies, and many major transportation authorities. We want to get the technology to them and the rest of the world as quickly as possible."
