GreenHunter Energy Appoints New Director of Corporate Communications

GRAPEVINE, Texas, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GreenHunter Energy, Inc. (AMEX: GRH) announced today the appointment of Mr. Jack W. Zedlitz as the Director of Corporate Communications.

Mr. Zedlitz, age 33, was formerly employed with Capital West Securities, Inc. in their Corporate Finance group where he was responsible for equity and debt financing for Capital West's corporate clients. Mr. Zedlitz worked with GreenHunter Energy on the Company's latest equity capital raise of $19.2 million completed in December 2007. Capital West Securities served as the principal financial advisor to the Company and led the placement of the securities on the transaction.
