Circle Biodiesel & Ethanol Corporation Expands Biofuel Processor Line

SAN MARCOS, Calif., Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Circle Biodiesel & Ethanol Corporation (http://www.circlebio.com) expands their biofuel processor line and second generation feedstock development.

New to the Company's biofuel processor line is a state-of-the-art algae harvesting system. "The use of algae as a feedstock for biodiesel production is essential to the evolution of the alternative energy industry," says Peter Schuh, C.E.O. of the Company and biofuel production expert. Circle's development of their algae photo bioreactor places them on the cutting edge of biofuel processing.

"With the advancement of second generation feedstock strategies for biofuels, coupled with higher crude oil costs, the profitability of the industry seems certain." This is why the Company has also invested in the micropropagation of jatropha as an alternative feedstock for biodiesel production.

Jatropha does not have a food versus fuel controversy, unlike soybeans or corn. Both algae and jatropha have a higher yield to cost ratio, making their use in the production of biofuels a viable option in displacing world gasoline usage.

With their experience in manufacturing biofuel processors, the Company is able to quickly and easily expand their portfolio beyond their original biodiesel processing equipment to include these second generation strategies.

"Circle is committed to providing options that make more sense economically," says Peter Schuh. "We are focused on a dual strategy for biodiesel production, with algae and jatropha development, that is proving to have huge potential. We are always increasing our outlook on the industry and incorporating new practices that make the prospects for our Company and the industry very exciting."
