Energy Focus Illuminates City of Berching in Bavaria's Largest Lighting Festival

BERCHING, Germany, July 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Energy Focus, Inc. (NASDAQ: EFOI) , formerly Fiberstars, Inc. (NASDAQ: FBST) , a global leader in energy efficient lighting, joined international artists, lighting suppliers and architectural students to brighten the city of Berching for a modern lighting festival. Named one of the world's largest festivals of light, the third annual Berchinale 2007 ignited Germany's medieval Bavarian city from June 22 to June 23 with 66 installations citywide.

Bringing light, art, and technology together to create a city of colors and luminance, Bernhard Mann, event organizer and managing director of LBM GmbH, a subsidiary of Energy Focus, rallied over 35,000 spectators and 20 internationally renowned lighting manufacturers and artists to participate in the two day event. Energy Focus alone provided illuminators and fibers for more than half of the festival's 66 installations.
