Johnson Matthey's Latest Generation CRT(R) Particulate Filter Achieves EPA and CARB Verification while Meeting NO(2) Slip Requirements for On-Road Vehicle PM, HC and CO Reduction

MALVERN, Pa., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) have verified Johnson Matthey's signature technology--the CRT(R) (Continuously Regenerating Technology) Filter-- for reducing PM, HC and CO by over 85% while meeting both regulatory agencies' stringent NO(2) slip requirements.

The first filter verified for EPA's voluntary retrofit program, the CRT filter has become the industry benchmark for Heavy Duty Diesel Retrofit Technology, reducing PM, HC and CO by more than 85%.
