Northern Offshore Names Gary Sullivan Controller

HOUSTON, April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Northern Offshore Ltd. Oslo: NOF.OL today announced the appointment of H. Gary Sullivan to the position of Controller. Prior to joining Northern Offshore, Mr. Sullivan spent more than 24 years in the energy industry, primarily with Transocean Inc. and predecessor companies.

"We are extremely fortunate that Gary is joining our team," commented Michael Dawson, Chief Financial Officer of the Company. "He has significant experience in directing international and corporate accounting functions and will be a valuable member of the Executive Management team."

Mr. Sullivan holds a BBA in Management and Finance from the University of Texas. Additionally, he is a certified public accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
