MIAMI, March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Even before its 2007 season in Europe begins, Celebrity Cruises has announced plans to return to the region in 2008 with four ships consistently rated among the "world's best."

Bookings opened today for Celebrity's 2008 European season on Celebrity Century, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Galaxy, and Celebrity Summit.

  Celebrity's European Itinerary Highlights 2008

  -- Celebrity Century on April 28, 2008, will depart Miami, Fla., on a
     14-night transatlantic voyage to Amsterdam, where the ship will present
     round-trip, 12-night Scotland and Ireland sailings, a series of
     12-night Scandinavia and Russia cruises, an Arctic Circle and North
     Cape voyage, and a 10-night Ireland and Norwegian Fjords cruise, before
     repositioning to Barcelona to cap the season with a series of Western
     Mediterranean and Morocco sailings. Celebrity Century departs Barcelona
     December 1 on a 14-night transatlantic voyage to Miami, where the ship
     will resume round-trip Caribbean sailings.
  -- Celebrity Constellation crosses the Atlantic on April 11, 2008,
     departing Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on a 13-night voyage to Harwich,
     England, a new port of embarkation for Celebrity. There, Celebrity
     Constellation will present a round-trip, nine-night Scotland and
     Ireland cruise before launching a series of 14-night, round-trip
     Scandinavia and Russia cruises. Celebrity Constellation's 2008 season
     in Europe concludes with a transatlantic voyage departing Barcelona
     September 8, featuring visits to Morocco, Spain, Portugal, the Azores
     and Newfoundland, and concluding in Cape Liberty, New Jersey, where the
     ship resumes Canada and New England sailings.
  -- Celebrity Galaxy presents a series of 10- and 11-night sailings from
     May to December, round-trip from Rome, each featuring an overnight stay
     in Istanbul, Turkey. Celebrity Galaxy concludes its European season in
     2008 with a 14-night transatlantic voyage from Barcelona, highlighted
     by visits to the exotic Moroccan ports of Casablanca, Tangier and
     Agadir, along with Lanzarote, Tenerife, and Santa Cruz, Canary Islands,
     ending in Miami, Fla.
  -- Celebrity Summit opens the European season on April 29, 2008, with a
     12-night "Best of Europe" cruise from Southampton, England, to
     Barcelona, Spain, highlighted by Celebrity's first calls on Gijon,
     Spain, a coastal community rich with culture and located between two
     beaches. Celebrity Summit then presents a series of 12-night
     Mediterranean sailings from Barcelona and Venice, featuring overnight
     stays in Venice. The ship's 2008 Mediterranean season concludes with a
     series of 14-night voyages featuring overnight stays in three stunning
     locations: Venice; Ephesus (Kusadasi) and Istanbul, Turkey; and
     Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy. Celebrity Summit sets sail on a 14-night
     transatlantic crossing departing Barcelona on November 29.
