Nikko Hotels' New Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa

NEW YORK, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Nikko Hotels International will open Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa in the United Arab Emirates on May 15, 2007. The new five-star resort, which is close to completion, will be the first in the Nikko Hotels International group in the Middle Eastern market. Fujairah is known for its ideal scuba diving and snorkeling sites. Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa will feature a diving center and is being built along a third of a mile of private beach. The resort will have 257 guest rooms, all of which face the ocean, as well as a multi-purpose room, indoor and outdoor children's play room, indoor diving pool, outdoor swimming pool, fitness facilities and a spa. The resort is located on the East Coast of U.A.E. and is a 90-minute drive from Dubai.

The hotel is owned by ACICO in Kuwait, and operated by JAL Hotels Co. The 486-room Hotel JAL Tower Dubai, another five-star Nikko Hotel, is scheduled to open in Dubai, U.A.E. in 2008.
