HOUSTON, Feb. 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Less than five months after the combination of Texas-based Locke Liddell & Sapp and Chicago-based Lord Bissell & Brook, Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell announces the opening of its Boston office with the hiring of two partners with deep roots and strong relations in the Boston legal community.

Opening the Firm's Boston office -- Locke Lord's 12th office -- is partner Stephen K. Fogg, a long-time corporate attorney who was a partner with Day Pitney before joining Locke Lord. Fogg has practiced law in Boston for more than 30 years, including serving as Chair of the Business Department of Choate Hall & Stewart. He also is a Member of the Overseers Board of Boston College Law School. Joining Fogg in Boston as partner is Jeff Warren who has a great deal of experience in corporate finance and venture capital including 18 years in large law firms and several years co-managing a private equity firm.

Fogg will be Managing Partner of Locke Lord's new Boston office. He focuses his practice on general corporate areas, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, insurance, financial service, corporate finance, international transactions, close corporations, and general business law. Fogg has managed numerous fund transactions, including a separate account hedge fund with an initial investment of up to $100 million, a fund containing private international assets in investments in multiple off-shore entities with an initial aggregate value in excess of $300 million, and investments in and management of portfolios. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Governors of Business Counsel Inc., a network of national and international law firms focused on providing high quality legal services to the corporate business community.
Jeffrey Warren focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate compliance, and some Alternate Dispute Resolution (often sitting as a neutral in business and fund-related cases for the American Arbitration Association). He is actively involved in leadership roles with several nonprofit organizations. He served as Co-Manager and General Counsel for Eaglestone Investment Partners, a private equity firm with offices in Los Angeles and Boston. He also served as a senior lawyer in the corporate finance group of Squire, Sanders and Dempsey, as well as managing partner of the corporate department at Keesal Young and Logan in Southern California.
