WASHINGTON, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Elaine Wolff, former Legal Branch Chief at the Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Corporate Finance, has joined Jenner & Block as a partner in its Washington, D.C., office. Ms. Wolff brings to the Firm more than 25 years of securities law experience in both the private and the public sectors.

As Legal Branch Chief for the SEC's Office of Real Estate and Business Services since 2004, Ms. Wolff identified and resolved crucial issues concerning the application of the disclosure requirements of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Ms. Wolff joined the SEC in 1997 as an attorney advisor. Before that, she did securities work, including the preparation of registration statements, in private practice.
Ms. Wolff earned her law degree at the Hastings College of Law of the University of California. She received her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley.
