Scott Dolfi Named Executive Vice President, Retirement Products & Services for The Guardian

NEW YORK, April 1, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian) today announced that Scott Dolfi has joined the firm as Executive Vice President, Retirement Products & Services. With more than 20 years of experience in executive management within the financial services industry, Dolfi joins Guardian from GE Asset Management where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to his role as COO for GE Asset Management, Dolfi managed the development of GE Life UK, where he served as a Chief Executive Officer.

In his new role, Dolfi will oversee management of Guardian's retirement initiatives in the small business market and will report directly to the CEO, Dennis J. Manning.
