Procter & Gamble Announces Organizational Changes

CINCINNATI, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Procter & Gamble Company NYSE: PG today announced the following organizational changes:

    -- G. Gilbert Cloyd (62), chief technology officer, will retire effective
       September 1, 2008, after more than 33 years of service. Until that
       time, effective June 1, 2008, Mr. Cloyd will be named officer on
       special assignment, reporting to A. G. Lafley, chairman of the board
       and chief executive officer. Mr. Cloyd will continue to be located in
       Cincinnati.

    -- Bruce Brown (49), currently vice president-research & development,
       Global Hair Care and Global Hair Colorants will be elected chief
       technology officer, effective June 1, 2008, reporting to Robert A.
       McDonald, chief operating officer. Mr. Brown will continue to be
       located in Cincinnati.
