CLEVELAND, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Krylon, the nation's leader in spray paint for home decor and home improvement, is making spray painters smile with its all-new EZ Touch 360 Degree(TM) Dial Spray Tip. The new tip, which sprays more like a professional spray gun, is available now on cans of Krylon(R) Indoor/Outdoor Paint and Krylon(R) Brushed Metallic finishes. It enables more comfortable spray painting with greater coverage per pass, reduced overspray and less chance of runs or drips.

In pre-launch testing, Krylon didn't just take the word of DIYers who said they liked the new tip better than traditional spray tips. The company used facial coding technology which showed that users of the new tip felt significantly happier, more relaxed and more comfortable while spraying. According to Mark Ksiezyk, Krylon senior product manager, "Our testers liked the tip so much, 94% of them said they would recommend it to a friend."

Krylon's new EZ Touch 360 Degree(TM) Dial Spray Tip sprays in a fan-shaped pattern instead of the round, conical pattern traditional for the industry, and shoots out more gently than conical spray paints for more even coverage. It features a dial that rotates a full 360° at the touch of a finger, so spray painters can adjust the direction of the fan-spray pattern to vertical, horizontal, or any angle in between for better coverage. Plus, the new push-button requires 48% less "push" for increased hand comfort and decreased muscle fatigue.

"The dial twists so users don't have to," Ksiezyk says. "You just rotate the dial with a gentle twist of the fingers. A horizontal setting is ideal for spray painting vertical surfaces such as table legs, while a vertical setting is best for painting horizontal surfaces such as tabletops."

Like all Krylon aerosol paints, Krylon Indoor/Outdoor Paint is in compliance with the California Clean Air Act for Aerosol Coatings and the California Low Emissions and Reactivity Rule (CLEAR).
