Progress Lighting Unveils New Products

GREENVILLE, S.C., Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- New products introduced by Progress Lighting this summer feature an assortment of pendants, lanterns and ceiling fans as well as expansions to the Illuma-Flex and Thomasville Lighting lines.

"Our goal is to offer items that address today's full range of home decor tastes and lifestyles to meet a wide variety of illumination applications," said Paige Malouche, director of marketing services for Progress Lighting. "Through these new additions we widen the possibilities for homeowners to create their own personal space in residential settings."

Pendants - In groupings or as stand-alone fixtures, the new pendants offer a variety of glass colors and shapes with today's most popular finish choices. Using standard incandescent lamps, many of these fixtures complement Progress Lighting's low-voltage Illuma-Flex series, as well as other decor families. One-light pendant options offered in a Brushed Nickel finish include: white cased glass; pattern white glass; clear prismatic glass; clear glass with etched patterns; and etched linen glass and etched opal glass shades. Amber cased and clear glass pendants are enhanced by Urban Bronze and Polished Nickel finishes.

Lanterns - The Newcastleton, Seirenes and Waterbourne lantern collections, which were recently introduced, come in three-light post or hanging lanterns and one-, two- and three-light wall lanterns with unique captured blown glass and a combination of cast and forced metal.

Inspired by an old glass decanter, the Newcastleton collection presents swirled blown glass lanterns for a "container of light" effect. Bands, finials and end caps join to shape simple metal frames that are offset by a delicious two-toned Espresso finish.

With blown water-patterned glass and light metal banding, the Seirenes collection looks as if it's floating in air. A glass body and cap emit an airy, almost 360 degree glow, and square brackets, simple arms and uncomplicated finials are highlighted by a Black finish.

The Waterbourne collection is reminiscent of great glass conservatories. Although solid, the body of clear blown glass displays a paneled look and is topped by a glass cap with the same detailing. Metal ribbons and brush-tip accents feature a Black finish.

Illuma-Flex Flexible Track System - The shapes and colors of Illuma-Flex pendants dramatically enhance the beauty and ambience of a room. Sculpted glass forms, metallic lines, and flowing curves make a statement while providing general and accent illumination. With one lighting system, several light fixtures can be mixed to match personal styles as well as to serve as general, accent, spotlight or illumination lighting.

A variety of brushed nickel mini-pendants for the Illuma-Flex track system are now available in white glass and black pencil wrap, clear and etched glass, patterned white glass and clear glass. Additionally, an urban bronze mini-pendant with amber patterned glass has been added to the Illuma-Flex line.

Ceiling Fans and Fan Light Kits - A three-lamp jasmine mint glass fixture was designed to complement Thomasville Lighting's Santiago line, which features Antique Pewter with Colonial Cherry Blades; available in Antique Pewter, Roasted Java and Forged Black finishes.

With antique swirl art glass and three medium base lamps the Thomasville Meeting Street collection comes in three distinct options: Forged Black with Distressed Walnut Blades; Roasted Java with Tuscan Oak Blades; and Antique Nickel with Colonial Cherry Blades.

Canyon Ridge and Villa Cortona ceiling fans and fan lights meet Energy Star standards and are certified to provide energy efficient air movement. Canyon Ridge ceiling fan kits come with Forged Black with reversible Tuscan Oak/Italian Walnut Blades, a Forged Black three-light kit with Etruscan stone glass and a dual mount for downrod or close-to-ceiling installation.

Villa Cortona, a three-light ceiling fan light kit with antique satin etched glass, features a Pietra Crackle and Weathered Bronze finish with reversible Tuscan Oak/Distressed Walnut Blades.

Ashmore and Prairie are new fan light kits that can be installed both indoors and outdoors. Ashmore features Antique Bronze, Cobblestone and Forged Black finish options and three candelabra base lamps which illuminate frosted seeded glass, while the Prairie kit offers Antique Bronze, Cobblestone and Forged Black finishes with frosted seeded glass and one medium base lamp.

Additionally, a new indoor/outdoor fan has been introduced that is finished with Cobblestone with Maple Blades and is light fixture adaptable.
