NEW YORK, March 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Capri International, a BrandQuest Development Group (Pink Sheets: BQDG) operating company, dazzled trade and consumer audiences with the unveiling of its first beauty product, Boof aerosol dry shampoo at the 2007 International Beauty Show (IBS) held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
The buzz at IBS New York is centered on Boof, an aerosol dry shampoo product that instantly cleans, moisturizes and volumizes hair, specifically made for people on the go. After more than two years under development, Boof was introduced to large crowds and amazing response at IBS and will be distributed through direct-to-consumer sales channels beginning later this month.
"We've had such a wonderful response from distributors, salons and consumers -- both men and women -- that stopped by the booth and attended product demonstrations have been so receptive and can't order enough of the product," said Capri Int'l CEO Michael Capri. "If this is any indication of how the consumer market place might react to Boof, we won't be able to stock the shelves fast enough."
Founded by Michael Capri, Capri International is an emerging beauty company with hair care, skin care and makeup products in development and is poised to quickly launch a full line of quality men's and women's makeup products later this year. Also in development is a line of men's and women's skin care products. Capri International was acquired by BrandQuest in October of 2006.
BrandQuest will assist Capri International in growing its business through strategic marketing, advertising and communications efforts to officially launch its first set of products, while building brand awareness with consumers and creating a solid revenue base. Once positioned properly, BrandQuest will then successfully bring the company public -- a process they coined the ultimate BrandQuest.
Founded by strategic marketing and advertising veteran Joe Moscato and seasoned Wall Street executive Gary F. Labrozzi, the BrandQuest business model employs a full suite of turnkey and seamless growth, financial, investment and regulatory services for small cap companies that want to enter the securities markets.
"We're pleased with the accomplishments that Mike and his team have made in a very short time since we took over ownership of Capri," said BrandQuest President Joe Moscato. "We're confident in Boof and the success it will find among consumers -- especially after seeing first hand the response the product had at IBS."
