Anhanguera Posts Growth of 325.2% in Adjusted Net Income and 198.4% in EBITDA Adjusted in 2007

VALINHOS, Brazil, March 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Anhanguera Educacional Participacoes S.A. - ANHANGUERA (BOVESPA: AEDU11) announces today its results for the fourth quarter of (4Q07). The Company's operating and financial data are presented on a consolidated basis and in Brazilian real, in conformance with Brazilian Corporate Law, except where stated otherwise. The information presented in this report concerns the performance in the fourth quarter of 2007 (4Q07) in relation to the fourth quarter of 2006 (4Q06) and in fiscal year 2007 in relation to fiscal year 2006, except where stated otherwise.

    2007 Highlights
    -- The Average Enrollments reached 56.7 thousand, a 131.3% growth over
       2006;
    -- Net Revenue grew by 143.1%, totaling R$ 273.6 million;
    -- Adjusted EBITDA reached R$ 64.4 million in 2007, an increase of 198.4%
       versus 2006, resulting in an Adjusted EBITDA Margin of 23.5%.
    -- Adjusted Net Income in 2007 was R$ 63.5 million, compared to R$ 14.9
       million recorded in the 2006;
