EOD Technology Wins Regional Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) Award

LENOIR CITY, Tenn., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- EOD Technology, Inc. (EODT), a leading provider of integrated munitions response, security services, and critical mission support services, has received a top regional award for its employee stock ownership plan. The regional award places the firm in the running for a top national employee stock ownership award that will be given in May, officials said.

EODT received the ESOP Company of the Year award from the New South Chapter of The ESOP Association (http://www.esopassociation.org). That national trade organization promotes the growth of employee ownership through ESOP participation. The New South Chapter covers the five-state area of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.

The organization said EODT was selected as the firm that best embodies the principles and spirit of employee stock ownership, and promotes ESOP participation. The award will be presented March 6 at the New South/Carolinas annual conference in Charlotte, N.C. EODT is eligible for the National ESOP Company Award in May.
