EODT Announces Hiring of General Manager for Security Services Business Unit

LENOIR CITY, Tenn., Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Shawn James has accepted the position of General Manager, Security Services, for EOD Technology, Inc. In this capacity, Mr. James will be responsible for all aspects of growing EODT's security services business with key government clients, principally the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State, as well as with private sector clients in critical infrastructure industries.

Mr. James' career includes significant positions with premier firms within the defense industrial sector and an accomplished military career with the U.S. Navy. Most recently, Mr. James led a startup business unit within Lockheed Martin's Maritime Sensors and Systems (MS2) division as the Vice President of Maritime Security and Infrastructure Protection Systems. This high-profile assignment followed his tenure as Vice President of Business Development in which he led the capture of more than $2B in business orders associated with U.S. Navy command and control programs, and the U.S. Coast Guard's Deepwater program. Prior to his work at Lockheed Martin, Mr. James was Vice President of Business Development for BAE Systems Technology Solutions Sector, growing business with the U.S. Navy in the Naval Strike, Information Operations, Special Operations, and Intelligence communities. Mr. James' military career involved leadership of intelligence operations for naval special warfare and joint military forces.

Mr. James is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and completed his Master's of Science degree at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA in Information Technology Management.
