Heartland Dental Care, Inc. Expands With Nine Acquisitions in Third Quarter

EFFINGHAM, Ill., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Heartland Dental Care, Inc. acquired nine dental practices during third quarter 2008.

These acquisitions include practices in both Florida and Texas. The seven Florida acquisitions include facilities in Bonita Springs, Bradenton, Lake Mary, Orlando, and Spring Hill. The two Texas acquisitions are located in Katy and Plano. This brings the total number of Heartland Dental Care practices to 223.

"These acquisitions keep us right on target with our projected growth for the year," said Richard E. Workman, DMD, CEO and President of Heartland Dental Care, Inc. "We anticipate adding another five to ten single practices by the end of the year. We also anticipate a few large group practice acquisitions in the near future."
