Galen Advisors Founder to Serve as President and CEO

ATLANTA, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Galen Advisors, LLC, a healthcare consulting company based in Atlanta, has announced that company founder Jere Pittner will serve as President and Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Pittner also will serve in the same capacity for Galen Billing Services (GBS), a division of Galen Advisors.

A native of Pennsylvania, Ms. Pittner holds a master's of science in health care policy and administration from Mercer University and a master's in business administration from Georgia State University. She has managed several medical practices during her career and for the last 10 years has served as practice administrator and chief operating officer of Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, LLC, where she oversaw practice growth from 11 physicians to 46 and managed 23 office locations and seven Endoscopy Centers with revenue of more than $60 million.
