Accuro Healthcare Solutions Inc. Announces Agreement with Tenet Healthcare to Provide Revenue Management Tools

DALLAS, May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Accuro Healthcare Solutions Inc. today announced that it has entered into an agreement to provide Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) Web-based revenue cycle management tools that will enhance the company's visibility into its hospital operations. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Tenet is based in Dallas, Texas, and through its subsidiaries, owns or operates acute care hospitals in 12 states.

Accuro's intelligence and revenue management tools help companies streamline and standardize their billing and revenue capture processes, as well as aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources.

Solutions Accuro will provide Tenet to support revenue management processes include:

     performance by APC department or physician to identify charge capture
     opportunities and support compliance by identifying billing patterns
     that prevent full payment, benchmarking coding practices to identify
     possible missing, under-utilized or over-utilized codes, and
     identifying cost variances within APC procedure groups.
