DALLAS, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Food Service Security Council (NFSSC) today announced the selection of Eddie Tallon as its spokesperson. The NFSSC is an association of loss prevention and risk management professionals from major casual dining and quick service restaurant chains.
Tallon has been in loss prevention for 15 years in the restaurant industry as the Vice President of Internal Audit and Loss Prevention for Ryan's Restaurants. Prior to entering the private sector, Tallon worked in law enforcement for over 20 years with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, rising to the rank of Supervisory Special Agent and as Chief of Narcotics for the Florence County Sheriff's Office. A graduate of Limestone College, Tallon also served in the United States Air Force.
A Board Member and past president of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officer's Association and the National Food Service Security Council, Tallon is also a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Certified Fraud Examiners Association and ASIS International.
