MultiVu Video Feed: Peter Eastgate,Odense, Denmark Wins the 39Th Annual World Series of Poker Main Event and the Top Prize of More Than $9.1 Million

The 2008 World Series of Poker was the largest in history. Its 55 events attracted a total of 58,720 players from 124 different countries. The total prize pool at this year's world series of poker was $180,676,248 - more than the Daytona 500, the Kentucky Derby and the Masters ... combined.

The World Series of Poker main event - a $10,000 buy-in no limit Texas hold'em tournament - began at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in July. The starting field of 6,844 competitors played down to the final nine on July 15.

For the first time in World Series of Poker history, play was then suspended, with the remaining nine competitors returning to the Rio on Sunday, November 9 and playing down to a winner earlier today

ESPN will air its coverage of the World Series of Poker Main Event final table coverage beginning at 9pm Eastern tonight
