NEW YORK, Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Tom Calderone, Executive Vice President and General Manager, VH1, a division of Viacom's (NYSE: VIA) (NYSE: VIA.B) MTV Networks, announced today that Tina Imm has been promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager, VH1 Digital. Also announced today, Tony Carbone and Deb Kadetsky have been upped to Vice President, Digital Production and Programming, VH1 Digital and Vice President, Digital Marketing, VH1 Digital, respectively. Both will continue to report to Imm.
In her new role, where she will continue to report to Calderone, Imm is responsible for the overall strategy, creative direction, content development, and production for VH1 Digital's platforms including: VH1.com, VH1Classic.com, VH1 Mobile, VH1 Games, and several of VH1's existing and planned vertical sites. In this position, she will also lead the content, promotional, and branding convergence between VH1 and its digital properties. Imm will also work under the oversight of Courtney William Holt, Executive Vice President of Digital Music and Media for MTV Networks' Music Group, on digital strategy and initiatives.

Most recently, Imm was Vice President, VH1 Digital a position she held since joining VH1 in July 2004. Previously, Imm served as Chief Operating Officer for Complex Media LLC, a media company that develops creative for youth culture through various media outlets. Before that, Imm co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer for the youth culture portal Platform Network (Platform.net), which aggregated over 40 top urban brands such as Ecko Unlimited, Triple 5 Soul, and Trace Magazine. Imm graduated from Brown University with a double concentration in Art: Semiotics and Applied Mathematics.
In his new role as Vice President, Digital Production and Programming, Carbone will manage and supervise all production and programming for VH1 Digital. He will continue to oversee the digital and broadband production and programming departments. Prior to his new role, Carbone was Executive Producer, VH1 Digital. Before joining VH1 in 2003, Carbone was Director of Development at Jupiter Media Metrix. He received a B.A. in journalism from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
As Vice President, Digital Marketing, VH1 Digital, Kadetsky will continue to lead the company's efforts to develop and implement strategic programming and promotional plans to support VH1's digital initiatives across platforms - online, digital music, mobile and games. Kadetsky joined VH1 in 2005 as Director, Digital Marketing, VH1 Digital. Prior to joining VH1, Kadetsky was Associate Director, Online Marketing and New Business Development at Columbia House Company (BMG). She received her B.S. in Marketing Management from Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management.
The promotions follow several recent digital highlights and milestones reached across MTV Networks. In September, MTVN attracted nearly 45 million unique domestic users across its online portfolio, according to comScore Media Metrix. The company recently unveiled plans to roll out Flux, a next- generation social media platform that will grow to span the company's young adult-and adult-directed websites and be open across the Internet. MTVN also has announced a development slate of two dozen targeted websites that will bring the company's global website portfolio to more than 300 sites by year's end. In August, the company announced that it will invest more than $500 million over the next two years in the development and distribution of its gaming business, to deeper serve and drive engagement among its core demographic audiences.
