The move signals that OTX, already number 22 on the Honomichl 50 -- the American Marketing Association's ranking of the top market research companies in the country -- is preparing for aggressive growth.

The appointments are:

Bruce Grey Tedesco as Chief Research Officer; Eric Villain as Executive Vice President, Digital Media Group, Tom Greco as Senior Vice President, Marketing Insights; Mike Carlon as Vice President, Strategic Insights; and Ajay Durani as Vice President, Marketing.

Bruce Grey Tedesco brings over thirty years of experience to OTX, specializing in designing advertising measurement and brand monitoring systems based on the application of advanced technology to marketing data. He has pioneered the use of neural networks and artificial intelligence as a resource for market researchers, and has worked with clients such as Kraft Foods, Coca- Cola, McDonald's, Campbell Soup, FOX, Conde Nast and other multinational brands. Bruce will be responsible for the continued growth and development of innovative analytic and research solutions to compliment OTX's industry leading offerings.

Eric Villain has over 20 years of brand development, marketing insights, and communications research experience. He has worked for leading edge international marketing research firms as well as advertising agencies. Eric's passion rests in helping clients understand the increasingly complex brand - customer two way communication process. He has worked with a variety of brand equity, segmentation, communication development, positioning and other adhoc research methods throughout his career. Eric has also spent years conducting qualitative research and championed innovative qual/quant approaches for many clients.

Tom Greco will be responsible for all clients and new business originating from OTX' Cincinnati office. Prior to joining OTX Tom, was Vice President/Managing Director for Knowledge Networks where he advised CPG manufacturers on how to best address their key business issues with the best possible research solutions. Greco ran the overall PDI (Knowledge Networks acquired PDI in 2001) business in Cincinnati and the survey research business generated by KN's Chicago office. Prior to KN, he spent 20 years serving a variety of roles in client service, analytics, business development and general management for ACNielsen.

Mike Carlon's will take on a new role at OTX, responsible for product and client development in the area of "story telling". This important new area will blend innovative approaches to qualitative and quantitative research to bring a new level of insight to OTX' clients. Mike's career in research has spanned 11+ years across multiple disciplines including academia, interactive marketing, financial services, and consumer packaged goods. Carlon's success as a qualitative researcher is based on his ability to make consumers feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, ideas, and emotions in various environments. He was most recently Senior Brand Building Insights Manager for the Dove brand for Unilever, and has also held marketing and research roles at MasterCard International and Dynamic Logic.

Ajay Durani, who will be responsible for all OTX marketing, public relations and marketing communications, spent over 11 years at the Advertising Research Foundation, the preeminent trade association for the advertising, marketing and media research industries. He was responsible for their conference line of business, putting together large scale conferences all over the world. He also worked extensively with the association's members and board of directors. Most recently he headed up corporate communications for IAG Research, a TV ad effectiveness ratings company.
