ST. LOUIS, Mo., and HEATHROW, Fla., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pioneer Football League and America Channel announced today that they have entered into a comprehensive video sports broadcast and content cooperation agreement. The new partnership includes extensive television coverage of Pioneer football games.
All Pioneer Football League member institutions will be represented in America Channel's broadcasts. The Pioneer Football League member institutions are: Butler University, Davidson College, University of Dayton, Drake University, Jacksonville University, Morehead State University, University of San Diego, and Valparaiso University. Each institution will have at least three appearances each year on America Channel.
"This is a key partnership for us, and we will be broadcasting a substantial amount of football from the PFL," stated Doron Gorshein, CEO of America Channel. "We now have well over 100 football games each year, and the PFL member institutions with their loyal followings will be core to our strategy. America Channel has now partnered with 15 NCAA Division I Conferences, representing 146 Universities or 45% of all NCAA Division I schools -- to broadcast extensive football, basketball and other sports as well as numerous conference tournaments. America Channel will broadcast well over 100 football games per year. In addition, 26 of the teams that participated in this year's NCAA Basketball Tournament will have a total of 80 regular season appearances on America Channel next season.
