I am extremely pleased that John Greenberg is joining KEF's board of directors," said Todd Grossman, president of KEF. "John brings more than 15 years experience in consulting and market research to the KEF board. He is a great addition and we plan to leverage John's work into how the Internet is transforming the decision making processes of many consumers and how this transformation can be used to build awareness for KEF's mission."
Currently, KEF is making efforts to assist additional schools at risk of being closed due to unsanitary conditions. Fundraising in the past year has resulted in vast improvements to schooling in the Mount Kilimanjaro area, including necessary renovations to the Olturoto Primary School, an educational facility housing over 900 students. The Foundation has also assisted volunteers in a number of charity climbs, hikes, and other fund raising activities.
"My initial involvement with KEF began when I was part of a KEF charity group that summited Kilimanjaro in August 2007, said John Greenberg," I now look forward as a board director to support the Foundation's goals of educational improvement, and to assist underprivileged children in the countries surrounding Kilimanjaro."
Greenberg previously served as Managing Director of Digital Idea, a unit of the Greenfield family of research companies, whose clients include much of the Fortune 500. Prior to Digital Idea, John also served as Vice President of Stratos Communications, a research and consulting firm specializing in global pharmaceutical clients. John began his career as a professional cartoonist working for Ranan Lurie, the world's most widely syndicated political cartoonist, among others. His work has been published in magazines and newspapers throughout the United States.
