BALTIMORE, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Wall Street Institute, the world's premier provider of English language instruction, announced today the grand opening of its first learning center in the Russian Federation. The center, located in central Moscow, is the first of several planned in Russia, one of the top ESL markets in the world.
With the opening of its first center in Russia, Wall Street Institute now operates in 26 countries and territories around the world. The company will continue to expand its global footprint throughout 2008 with centers opening in the new markets of Morocco and the Czech Republic.
The company also continues to open new centers in existing high-growth markets, such as China where new Wall Street Institute English learning centers are opening at the rate of nearly one per month.
"With a rapidly growing economy and an expanding business sector demanding more and more English speaking employees, Russia is a natural fit for Wall Street Institute's innovative and proven method. The Wall Street method focuses on speaking and understanding English in everyday business and social settings rather than the traditional focus on teaching grammar out of a textbook," said Christopher Eden, Wall Street Institute's Vice President of International Development.
Tim Daniels, Chairman and CEO of Wall Street Institute, added: "With the opening in Russia and other new markets, as well as the opening of new centers in existing fast growing markets like China, Wall Street Institute is taking the lead in building a global network of English learning centers that set a new standard of excellence and consistency in English language instruction around the world. In the process, we are creating a unique global community of students from an incredibly diverse array of cultures that share a common goal - to effectively communicate in English."
