Arizona Sextuplets Benefit from College Scholarships

PHOENIX, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- While the educational landscape may change significantly in 18 years, the cost of tuition for an average college education is expected to be around $200,000 - an anticipated tuition hit of $1.2 million for Bryan and Jenny Masche of Lake Havasu, Ariz., the new parents of sextuplets born June 11th. Thanks to a generous gift of full scholarships for all six children from Grand Canyon University, the burden of paying for college tuition for the Masche children is completely covered.

"When we learned about the extraordinary birth of the Masche children, offering the scholarships was a no-brainer for us," says Grand Canyon University CEO Brent Richardson. "We teach our students to serve others and to give back to the community, which is exactly our intention with this donation. I am certain the college experience will be much different for the class of 2029, but we promise the family a superior education for their children, and we are honored to help in this way."

The Masche children - Bailey Elizabeth, Savannah Jane, Molli Grace, Cole Robert, Blake Nicholas and Grant William - were born at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. The Masches, members of Lake Havasu's Calvary Baptist Church, have indicated their desire for their children to attend college in a Christian setting. In the 50-plus years since Grand Canyon University's inception, the Phoenix-based school has provided a quality education grounded in Christian values. The school offers highly regarded degrees in education, nursing and business, and touts a nationally recognized athletic program including NCAA-ranked baseball, basketball, golf, volleyball and softball teams.

Individuals wishing to send congratulations, prayers, e-mails and letters of support can reach the family at maschemiracles@yahoo.com. A benefit account has been set up for the family at Bank of America (statewide) under "Masche Sextuplet Fund."
