PITTSBURGH, March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Art students, designers and other fans of digitally-created art will have the chance to see award-winning pieces from the Macworld Conference Expo Digital Art Gallery during a special five- school tour hosted by The Art Institutes.
The exhibit will be on display to the public at Art Institute locations in Phoenix, Washington, D.C., Boston, Minneapolis and Dallas.
The Macworld Conference Expo Digital Art Gallery features more than 30 pieces of digital art created by professional artists and students from around the world. The work was chosen by a respected panel of judges from the digital art community and represents a selection process that began with more than 1,000 entries from students, professionals and hobbyists. The competition's judges included Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, legendary pop artist Peter Max, NAPP's Scott Kelby and Adobe's Russell Brown. The artwork was recently on exhibit at the Macworld Conference and Expo in San Francisco this past January.
