Nokia went to new heights today by introducing its new product to assembled reporters 180 feet above Las Vegas at the CTIA Wireless Show. On a platform suspended 180 feet off the ground by a crane in the "Nokia Internet Cafe in the Sky," over 22 reporters at a time were able to try out the new N810 Internet Tablet. This soon-to-be-available wireless Internet browsing tablet features a new long range wireless data technology called WiMAX that allows consumers to access the Internet in unexpected places - such as high above the Nevada desert.
The Internet Cafe in the Sky is the first time that this unique platform has been used commercially in the United States. CTIA attendees who visit the Nokia booth throughout the trade show will have the opportunity to register for free flights and product demos in the Nokia Internet Cafe in the Sky high above Las Vegas.
