Core Communities Gives $2.5 Million to South Carolina Town for Recreation Park

HARDEEVILLE, S.C., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Core Communities, developer of Tradition Hilton Head, a new 5,300-acre sustainable, master-planned community being developed here, today gave the city of Hardeeville $2.5 million to be used for additions and improvements to its downtown recreation park.

Hardeeville Recreation Park encompasses approximately 70 acres and is ultimately planned to include a campus of playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, ball fields, walking trails and fishing ponds as well as a senior center, an open-air performance center, small gymnasium and concession stands behind City Hall.

Tradition Hilton Head is located within the city limits of Hardeeville, 20 minutes west of Hilton Head Island, SC and a half hour north of Savannah, GA.

"We are much more than just your typical developer of residential neighborhoods," said Page.
