Fernando Pasquel, CPM, was selected to receive the 2006 Civil Engineering Distinction Award from the Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Corporation (HENAAC). Made up of industry, government, military, and academia participants, HENAAC's Selection Committee annually chooses from the best and brightest professionals with Hispanic ethnicity, in a number of engineering and scientific fields. Pasquel, vice president and water resources engineering manager, has been with Baker since 2001 and is currently providing leadership for Baker's Federal Emergency Management Agency Map Modernization Program, as deputy program executive/operations manager, and also serves as one of the leads in Baker's national water practice.
