ST. LOUIS, May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amdocs NYSE: DOX, the leading provider of customer experience systems, today announced that Elion, the largest telecommunications and IT provider in Estonia, has selected Amdocs OSS to streamline its network operations and resource management. Amdocs will provide a network inventory system for the provider's fast growing portfolio of Internet Protocol (IP)-based services, such as new triple play offerings including video, voice and cable. As a result, Elion will improve its operational efficiency, reduce support costs and decrease time-to-market for new services, enabling it to enhance its customer experience.
As Elion's volume of IP services reach a critical mass, the company needed to replace a number of manual processes and automate service fulfillment. Amdocs OSS will enable Elion to gain a single source of complete and accurate data within its network for faster service fulfillment. In addition, Elion can utilize network data to streamline the service assurance process and make the most efficient use of network assets. With newly automated processes for network planning and executing changes within its network, Elion can rapidly launch and maintain complex services to strengthen its competitive advantage and maintain its position as the IP service provider of choice in the Estonian market.
Amdocs is working with Ericsson Estonia to deploy the Amdocs OSS solutions.
